Kazuko Gillis

Kazuko Gillis, affectionately known as Mrs. G, the long-time co-owner of Mr. G's Party

Center, Inc., passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024. Born on October 30, 1941, in Hidaka-shi, Saitama, Japan, Kazuko spent most of her life in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She created a legacy of happiness that revolved around helping generations of families celebrate their most important life events. Kazuko also never missed a chance to cheer on her beloved Celtics and Patriots. Her favorite players were Dave Cowens and Jon Havlicek for the Celtics and Rob Gronkowski for the Patriots. Kazuko is survived by her loving daughter, Katrina Snow, and her husband Arthur "Cedric” Snow; her beloved grandson, Duncan Snow; and her dear sisters, Humiko, Takako, Katsumi, and Chako. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Gillis, and her parents, Sakuzo and Misao, as well as her brother Kiichi. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, Massachusetts. A funeral mass in her honor will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard's Parish at St. Camillus Church.
