Kathleen T. Emond

Kathleen T. Emond, born on October 27, 1942, in Leominster, MA, passed away on August 17, 2023. The world has lost a loving, supportive, loyal, and resilient soul, but her spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Kathleen was a very private individual, cherishing her solitude, yet always present for her family.   Kathleen is predeceased by her beloved husband, David Emond who passed away in 1999.

Kathleen was a dedicated employee at Dunkin Donuts, where she served as a cashier until her retirement. Kathleen's world revolved around her family, her most precious treasure. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she left an indelible mark on their lives. As Maya Angelou beautifully put it, "I sustain myself with the love of family."

Kathleen's life was a testament to her strength, and the legacy she leaves behind is deeply treasured. She is survived by her children, Andrea Peterson and her husband Adam, Danielle Asiamah and her husband Smart, Derrick Emond and his wife Kimberly, and David Emond and his wife Kathy, her sister Barbara Lawrence, and her grandchildren Kurt Peterson, Cole Peterson, Emond Asiamah, Jahrion Asiamah, Frank Hudacek, Christopher Hudacek, Ryan Emond, Calvin Fisher, Krysta Mallette, and Adam Peterson. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Rey and Rose Remal, her brother Ronald Remal, and her sister Sandra Rocheleau.   She leaves many nieces and nephews. 

In the words of Albert Einstein, "Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life."
