Her nursing career began over 50 years ago. She started in the mid sixties at Leominster Hospital. Most recently she worked part time at Lifecare Center of Leominster. Kathy also privately cared for patients. The past five years were spent with her loving friend Lucy.
Her husband John owned and operated Wachusett Potato Chip Company with his sons while Kathy greatly supported them from home. She took a break from nursing to be there for her family and care for her children as they grew. Kathy also provided childcare during this time for The Fitzpatrick and Kohler families.
Kathy enjoyed her bowling league, going out to eat, tending to her flowers, and vacationing in Maine and Florida. She was an avid reader and awesome cribbage player. She would never turn down a ride on a Harley Davidson! Kathy was also a current member of The Leominster Elks.
Kathy’s greatest love was her family and friends. Her warm desire to help anyone and everyone was a constant- Always with an unmatched sense of humor and often times done anonymously.
