Karen T Hamel

Karen T. (Berube) Hamel, born on October 27, 1963, in Fitchburg, MA, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior. After many years of chronic illness she passed peacefully on November 19th. Karen touched the lives of those around her in ways that will continue to resonate. She never complained, despite her hardships, and loved others by praying for them. 

Karen is survived by her parents, Alfred and Evelyn Berube; her sister, Dianne Albert; her  nephews, Joseph Berube and Andrew Albert; and her aunts, Barbara Reed and Dianne Berube.

The service will be on  Friday November 24th at 11 am at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Road,  Westminster MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 1 Hagar Park Road, Westminster, MA 01473.
