Fitchburg – Judith D. (Belliveau) Dunbar, 68, of Fitchburg, passed away in Leominster Hospital on February 19, 2018, with her loving husband by her side.
Judith was born in Fitchburg on July 11, 1949, a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (DeBarge) Belliveau. Judith spent a year in the convent of Saint Joseph in England. After the passing of her mom, Judith returned home to help her father raise her 11 siblings.
She was a kind and loving woman, who spent the bulk of her career taking care of the elderly. For many years she worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the Highlands and Burbank Hospital. She also worked for Independent Lock Co. and as a secretary for Fitchburg State College. She enjoyed crafts and playing Bingo. A devout Catholic, Judith was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Fitchburg.
She is survived by her husband William J. Dunbar of Fitchburg of 26 years, brothers, Steven Belliveau and companion Dawn of MI and Tommy Belliveau and wife Nancy of Fitchburg; sisters, Nancy Nettelbladt and husband Richard, Geri Jennings of Lunenburg, Carol Belliveau and husband Armand, Diane Keenan and husband Brandon, all of Fitchburg; many nieces, nephews, and her three God children, Linda Wood, Cal Jennings, Jr., and Nicholas Barrieault. She is predeceased by William Belliveau, Joan Belliveau and companion Dennis Barrieault, Beverly Tarbell, Cookie Belliveau, Edward Belliveau
A Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph Church in Fitchburg will be held at a later date.
