With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph DiPrima, affectionately known as Jay Jay. He was born on July 28, 1967, in Fitchburg, to Joseph and Margaret DiPrima.

Jay attended special education classes at Southeast school in Leominster taught by Mr. McFarland. Jay began his journey at the Arc in 1989, where he found a second family, creating lifelong bonds ..with his peers and very loving, caring individuals .His life was greatly enriched through social, recreational, and educational activities. He loved to dance and listen to music, especially Michael Jackson and the Beatles. CHEESECAKE was his favorite food!

In 2008, with the passing of his father and his mother's move to a nursing facility, Jay became a member of the Nonotuck foster care program. Jay's life was a testament to the power of the human spirit and the value of being part of a loving community. His legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those he met and the community that embraced him. Jay attended the Christian Life Center where he participated in various youth programs, singing songs in church and bellowing a hearty “Amen” after prayer.
