It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joseph S. Cadette, lovingly known as Joe, on March 17, 2025. Born on August 24, 1957, in the vibrant town of São Miguel, Vila Franca do Campo, Azores, Portugal, Joseph was a living embodiment of love, generosity, compassion, and humility. He lived a fruitful life filled with adventures and touched numerous lives as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Joseph was a man of many talents. A successful businessman, he was the proud owner of a Dunkin' franchise. His hard work and dedication earned him the Distinguished Citizen Award, a testament to his commitment to his community and business acumen. However, Joseph's life wasn't all work. He loved golf and was often seen enjoying a game with friends. He was also an avid player of cards and relished the camaraderie and friendly competition these games brought. His family and friends were his world, and the joyous gatherings and times of togetherness were what mattered most to him.
Joseph is survived by his adoring wife, Maria Cadette, and their children; Cindy (Justin) Cadette Rivers, Michelle (Blaine) Colacchio, and Keith (Amanda) Cadette. He was a proud grandfather to Kaylee, Vivan, Evan, Dylan, and William. He leaves behind his brothers John (Tina) Cadete and George (Olivia) Cadete, and sisters-in-law; Edwina (Guy) Melanson and Nina (Peter) Gesualdi. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Urbano and Maria Cadete.
Joseph's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His life was a testament to the power of love, generosity, and compassion. He was a beacon of humility, guiding those around him with his unwavering kindness. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Joseph on the memorial page at brandonfuneral.com. Your remembrances will help to keep his spirit alive for generations to come.
