Jose Tirado Jr., affectionately known as Joe to his loved ones, passed away on October 1, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born in NYC, NY, on July 26, 1960, Jose brought joy and light into every room he entered. A devoted husband, father, brother, and son, Jose was the epitome of a loving and dedicated family man. His infectious humor and spirited nature endeared him to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. The legacy of his kindness and dedication to his family will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
As a Residential Program Manager in the Human Services field, Jose made a significant impact on countless lives. Although he was proud of his professional accomplishments, he always believed his greatest achievement was his wonderful children and grandchildren. A proud resident from Fitchburg, his home was always filled with laughter, music, and the sounds of family. Whether he was playing pool, engaging in family movie nights, enjoying beach trips, or attempting to fish, Jose was happiest when he was with his family. He was also known for his love for Elvis and Michael Jackson's music, his affinity for playing cards with his niece and nephew, and his light-hearted jokes and pranks.
Jose was a man of deep faith, attending church regularly and incorporating daily prayers into his life. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believe in him should not perish it have eternal life” truly encapsulates Jose's approach to life and parenting. His love and dedication to his family were his guiding principles and his most remarkable qualities.
Jose Tirado is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ana Sierra-Tirado; his mother, Ana Tolentino; his children Jamie, Anthony, Joanna, Lisa, and Evelyn . His family takes comfort in knowing that as Elvis Presley says "Joe has left the building," but his spirit and the memories of his love, humor, and dedication will forever remain in their hearts.
We invite you to leave your memories of Jose and upload photos to his memorial page. Your tributes will serve as a comfort and a celebration of a life that was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to family.
