John T. Condon

A visitation will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, December 21, from 9:30-10:30 am. The funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am in St. Anthony di Padua Church in Fitchburg. Burial will be held at a later date.



John T. Condon, 93, born in Leominster, MA, passed away peacefully in his Florida home Sunday December 13, 2020, surrounded by his family. He moved to FL in 1994 from the Middle East after a long successful career as a Civil Engineer. He had an amazing life traveling all over the world with his beloved Wife Nicoletta Condon of 58 years. John enlisted into the Navy in 1945 and received the Victory Metal WWII for Philippine Independence serving as a C1″ A” Signalman SCH. John graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. His career took him and his family to Abu Dhabi, UAE and allowed them to travel all over the world. John was an avid Pool Player and his team played in the APA Tournament in Las Vegas several times. He is preceded in death by his mother Grace Condon (Mackie) and father William Condon, Wife of 58 years Nicoletta (Maldarella) and siblings Grace Rafuse, William (Buddy), Norma Shayer, Richard, Margaret Fasano. Survived by siblings Henry (Helen), Roscoe (Louise), David, MaryEllen Derosier, JoAnn Ruel (Bob); Nancy Lehnhart. He also leaves two sons and their spouses, Michael (Dawn), James (Kevin Kirin) and a daughter Johnna Barlow, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nephews/nieces.
