Born on October 27, 1953, in N. Roxbury, MA, John King was a resilient man whose journey in life was a testament to his inherent strength and determination. He overcame a lot and inspired those around him with his humble courage. John was a loving father and grandfather, always supportive and present, his family was his world. He loved fishing, playing guitar, listening to music, cheering on the Boston Bruins, sweet treats of all kinds, and spending quality time with his family and his grandchildren.
John Michael King, entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2023, just days after celebrating his 70th birthday where he was reunited with his true love, Dolly.
John is lovingly remembered by his daughters: Caty May, husband Jared May, and Jennifer King, partner Joseph DaSilva
His memory lives on in the hearts of his cherished grandchildren: Winter and Fiona Dwyer, and Maggie, Jackson, and Molly May.
His Brothers and sister remember their brother's resilient spirit and loving heart: Joseph King and wife Karen King, Patrick King and wife Carol King, Maureen Doiron and husband Victor Doiron.
His nieces and nephews will forever cherish the memories of their supportive uncle: Amy Weafer, Raymond King, Emma King, Andrew Doiron, Meaghan DeGagne, and Paul King Jr.
John was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth King, his beloved wife, Doris King, and his brothers, Robert and Paul King.
There will be a celebration of life for John on Sunday, November 12th, from 11-2pm, at The American Legion, 295 School St., Winchendon, MA 01475. We invite you to join us as we remember John and celebrate his life.
