John Kennedy, born on November 22, 1961, in Nashua, NH, passed away on January 28, 2025. Known to friends and family for his loyal spirit, John lived a life characterized by a humble heart and thoughtful demeanor. 

John grew up in New Hampshire and Fitchburg, attending local schools. As an adult, he made his home in Worcester, Massachusetts, before finally settling down in Watertown. He carried a passion for nature into his personal life, finding great joy in hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. Despite his love for the wilderness, John found contentment in the simple pleasures life offered and the close bonds he nurtured with his family and friends.

John is survived by his loving siblings, Elizabeth Kennedy of Fitchburg, Randy Kennedy of Leominster, and Linda Markeseines of Winchendon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and G. Kennedy Flagg, and his siblings, Charlie Flag, Susan Chirco, Sandy Paul, Jackie Bingham, and Judi Gleissner.  

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2025, from 5-7 pm at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm in the funeral home. 

We invite those who knew John to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page, celebrating a life lived with loyalty, humility, and thoughtfulness.
