OBITUARY

Leominster – Jeffrey John Haschig (35) of Leominster, MA died suddenly at his home on Monday, June 13, 2016.

Jeff was born in Leominster on April 25, 1981, son of David and Diane Haschig. He was a 1999 graduate of Leominster High School where he starred on the varsity basketball team. He later graduated from Framingham State College where he also played basketball.

Jeff loved spending time with Ali, the love of his life, as they prepared for their August 2017 wedding. He cherished time with his family. He enjoyed playing volleyball at Camp Pineshore and basketball with his dad, brothers, uncles, and friends. He was always up for drinkin’ some beeahs and smokin’ some stogies or watching his beloved Pats. Uncle Roo loved being pig-piled on and making animal noises with his nieces and nephews (Avery, Carsten, Joey, Mila, and Diana). Jeff was the “International Man of Mystery”, but he was so incredibly loyal, dependable, and faithful. He was a life-long member of Messiah Lutheran Church where he learned to love the Lord.

Jeff worked in the banking industry first at IC Credit Union and then Middlesex Savings Bank as a Database Administrator.

He leaves his fiancé, Alison Fiffy of Leominster, his parents David and Diane (Erkkinen) Haschig of Leominster; David Haschig and wife Tammy of Harvard, Jennifer (Haschig) and husband Maj. Ryan Cherry of Arlington, VA, Brian Haschig and wife Paula of Devens, and Brandon Haschig of Boston. He will forever be missed by his family, along with his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins until they are all reunited with him in Heaven.
