Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Friday, September 8, from 10am-12noon. A service will begin at 12:00noon. Burial will follow in Saint Leo’s Cemetery in Leominster.
OBITUARY
Lowell – Jayleah A. Auguste, 9, of Lowell, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 in Tufts Medical Center after an illness.
Jayleah was born in Lowell on March 1, 2008, a daughter of Jessica Aho and Joseph L. Auguste, Jr. She was currently a student at the Lincoln Elementary School in Lowell. She practiced her Christian Faith at the Rehoboth Lighthouse Church in Haverhill with her family.
Jayleah was a fun and fearless little girl; no adventure was too much for her. Outside activities were her favorite, especially swimming and basketball, or playing with her sisters and helping her brother fix his go kart. Her positive attitude, compassion, and determination to do anything, are just a few small things that made Jayleah so loveable. Always polite, smart, and strong, Jayleah excelled in school, receiving several awards for her reading abilities. Adorned with her contagious smile, she could often be found dancing, taking pictures, listening to her favorite music, and playing video games. Jayleah enjoyed watching Smelly Belly Tv, her favorite show on YouTube, that always made her laugh. She was the tough little leader of her pack, and the glue that held her family together. She will be immensely missed, and loved for ever more.
Jayleah leaves her mother, Jessica Aho; her father, Joseph L. Auguste, Jr.; her siblings, Jeremiah Auguste, Juliana Auguste, her twin sister Jayleen Auguste, and Sophia Auguste. She is also survived by her maternal great great grandmother Gena Nutting; maternal great grandmother, June Draleaus, maternal grandmother, Cynthia Aho; paternal grandparents, Paulette and Joseph L. Auguste, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Justin Sousa and Jameson Sousa, Jensen Auguste, Nehemiah Auguste, Ricardo Auguste, Parvel Auguste, Junia Auguste, Diana Julien, Colette Auguste, and Shelby Auguste; her step mom Lorin Gibbons, and her two daughters, Mariah Gibbons and Dezaree Clagon; many great aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were very important to her.
Jayleah was predeceased by her grandfathers, Scott Brandes and Michael Sousa.
