Janette Cote Ducharme

The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Tuesday, February 16, with a Mass in Saint Joseph Church, Fitchburg at 10:00am. Committal prayers will follow in the Pieta Chapel in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 15, from 5-8pm.



OBITUARY Gardner – Janette (Ducharme) Cote, 85, of Gardner, passed away on February 12, 2016 in her home. Janette was born in Fitchburg on May 1, 1930, a daughter of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Plourde) Ducharme. She grew up in Fitchburg and later moved to Lunenburg for several years with her family. For many years she worked in several Boston area restaurants and later for Simonds Saw and Steel. She loved Bingo and gambling with her friends. Janette was a loyal Patriots fan and enjoyed family gatherings. She loved her cat Tommy. Janette leaves her sons, Joseph Cote of Gardner, Robert Cote and wife Corinne Turra of Westminster; daughters, Carol Ann Killmer of AZ, Sherry Woodruff and husband Stephen of Lunenburg, Marie Fisher and husband Guy of OH; nine grandchildren, Rebecca Toscano, Michael, Kayla, and Kimberly Cote, Lisa Napoleon, Joseph Killmer, Matthew and Melissa Woodruff, Kelsey Fisher, 13 great grandchildren; longtime companion, Clifford Gilbert; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Cote; son, Steven Cote; siblings, Alice Wehmeyer, Theresa Therrien, Gertrude Richard, Lillian Dabney, Raymond Ducharme; daughter in law, Holly Jean Cote; son in law, Steven Kilmer.
