A calling hour will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, May 2, from 10:00-11:00am. A funeral Mass will be held in Saint Leo’s Church, 108 Main St., Leominster on Monday at 11:30am. Burial will be held privately.
Jacqueline M. Gendron, 84, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022.
She was born in Fitchburg on November 22, 1937, a daughter of the late Leo A. and Rosalie (Nadeau) Gendron. She graduated from Academie Maria Assumpta in Petersham.
Jacqueline worked for several years in waitressing before finding her niche in medical transcribing. She worked for various doctor’s offices locally, and eventually established her own business, Gendron Secretarial Services.
She was a devout and dedicated parishioner of Saint Leo’s Church in Leominster, where she served as a Lector for many years. A skilled knitter, she would often be seen selling her homemade goods at the church bazaar.
Jacqueline loved traveling in the summer months with the Seniors and her church groups to indulge in a yearly Maine lobster.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was predeceased by her four sisters, Connie Gendron, Lorraine Powers, Theresa McDermott, and Germaine Banaszynski.
