It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Santiago, born February 13, 1995, in Springfield, MA, who departed this life on February 3, 2024. He resided in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Jacob is a proud graduate of Goodrich Academy in 2014. He was a man of many passions, and his love for music was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. His children were truly his world.
Jacob is a dedicated father and family man and is survived by his mother, Maria Burdekin; his son, Aziyas Santiago; his daughter, Amyriah Santiago; his siblings: sister Selena Toro-Brown, and brothers Ignazio Ortiz and Jevon Rosemend; and his girlfriend Kristene Haywood.
In the words of Victor Hugo, "Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent." This quote embodied Jacob's spirit perfectly. His love for music was a testament to his soul's depth and his profound ability to connect with others.
We invite you to share your cherished memories of Jacob and upload photos on the memorial page, as we remember and celebrate his life and the love he spread.
