Ines Dolly (Corbino) Boucher 103, of Fitchburg entered the gates of heaven and was reunited with Pup on Friday, June 8, 2018.

She was born on Flag Day, June 14, 1914, in Leominster, daughter of Vincenzo and Olympia (Pagnotta) Corbino.

Ines leaves her daughters Joy DeCarolis of Sarasota, Fl, Donnalee Bilodeau and her husband Robert, with whom she resided with for the last 17 years, six grandchildren; Timothy DeCarolis, Jeffrey DeCarolis, Douglas DeCarolis, Rhonda DeCarolis, Leslie Schuster, Todd Schuster, seven great-grandchildren; Jennifer Hall, Louis DeCarolis, Katie Kellum, Derek DeCarolis, Matthew DeCarolis, Brayden Schuster, Sophia Schuster and four great-great-grandchildren; Chloe Hall, Aria Kellum, Mila Kellum, Carter DeCarolis.

She was predeceased by her husband of 72 yrs. Lionel Boucher  in 2004, two brothers; Henry Corbino, Aldo Corbino, five sisters; Fidalma Centra, Pearl Pascarelli, Eldy Corbino, Dea Romano and Alma Paladino and two grandchildren; Shelley DeCarolis, Randall DeCarolis.

Ines’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and preparing all of their favorite Italian dishes. The Holidays were never complete without the family enjoying various types of her homemade cookies.

Her love for Engelbert Humperdinck and his songs were a huge part of her life. She attended his concerts many times in recent years; the most memorable was in April at age 103. Watching the Red Sox was also high on her list, as she rarely missed watching them with an ice cream cone in hand.

Ines was an extraordinary woman and we were blessed to have her with us for so many years. She is truly going to be missed, especially by her grandchildren who spent much of their childhood being spoiled by Gram.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Shawna and Nancy from Montachusett Home Care, Cheryl Girouard at Navicare, Maureen from Catholic Charities and Diane at Dr. Langman’s office.
