Heather J. Brewer Adkins

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 9th. Family and friends are invited to come between 1-4pm at The Bull Run Restaurant in the Studio Room (downstairs), 215 Great Road Shirley Massachusetts.
Heather Joy (Adkins) Brewer, 47, of Lunenburg, MA, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2017.
Heather was born on June 29, 1970 at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, to Tommy Lee Adkins and Janet Elizabeth Adkins. Heather was fortunate to have traveled to many states as a child before settling down with her family in Lunenburg, MA. She graduated from Lunenburg High School in 1988.
Heather was a beautiful person who was creative, resourceful and kind. She had a passion for helping others and making them feel special. She was the keeper of family traditions, giving thoughtful attention to details and always incorporating sentimental recipes, keepsakes and photos into holidays and gatherings.
Heather’s world centered around her two daughters of whom she was extremely proud, Ashley and Christen Brewer, and her granddaughter Ava. She had a hard time keeping surprises and gifts from them, as she was always too excited to wait! Her child-like wonder was contagious.
She spent a great deal of time with her beloved Ava. She gave her undivided attention, spending hours fully enveloped in play and projects with her, making elaborate desserts and crafts like fully “feathered” rice crispy treat turkeys, bringing the kiddie pool indoors when it was too cold outside and playing all afternoon with the triple decker doll house, nothing was too silly or too inconvenient when it came to children.
Heather leaves her fiancée Jim Caron, with whom she was excitedly planning a summertime ocean wedding.
She will be deeply missed by her mother, Jan Adkins, father Tommy Adkins (stepmother Christine Adkins), brother Thom Adkins, sister Sarah Lerol (and brother-in-law Kurt Lerol), daughters Ashley Brewer and Christen Brewer (her partner Jason Bolduc), granddaughter Ava Bolduc, fiancée Jim Caron and his two children, Tim and Alyssa Caron, aunt Joy Ashman, uncle Ken Ashman, cousins Amy, Emily, Hannah and Iris and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
