Gordon C. Carrion

Gordon Carrion, 100 passed away peacefully on March 3, 2023, formerly of Capitola, California and
Fitchburg, MA.

He was born on March 22, 1922, the son of Louis Carrion and Helen (Halvorson). Gordon joined
the U.S. Army and served during WWII with General Patton’s 3 rd Army during the battle of the bulge.
Gordon was an avid reader and during his travels, you could always find him in the nearest
library. His key to longevity was eating healthy and walking daily. Gordon’s mind was sharp right up till
his passing.

Gordon is predeceased by his sisters Lois, Rosa, Phyllis, and Ruth and his brothers Douglas and
William. He leaves behind his niece, Gia Deming her husband Chuck, great nieces Mercedes her
daughter Leila, Alexandrea and her sons Armani and Johann (JuJu). He loved being “Tio” to Armani, Juju
and Leila. Gordon also leaves behind his close friend, Laura Abraham from California, with whom he
spoke to daily, and Susie Pelletier of Lunenburg, MA, Uncle/ Tio will be missed by all that knew him.

Burial will be private. Brandon Funeral Home 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA is directing the
arrangements.
