The funeral will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Tuesday, December 8 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Ashby. Calling hours will be on Monday, December 7, from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Townsend Senior Center, 16 Dudley Road, Townsend, MA 01469.
Ashby – Gloria C. (Shank) Fors, 63, of Ashby, passed away Wednesday, December 2, in UMass Medical Center in Worcester. Gloria was born in Fitchburg on July 14, 1952, a daughter of the late Roland and Grace (Infantino) Shank. She attended Ashby High School. She leaves her son Michael Fors of Ashby; six siblings, Roland Shank, Jr., and wife Lisa of Wisconsin, Robert Shank and wife April of Fitchburg, Joseph Shank and wife Elaine of Townsend, Kenneth Shank and wife Sally of New Hampshire, Steven Shank of Fitchburg, and Annemarie Veilleux and husband Roger of Fitchburg; many nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Paul Fors in 2009.
