The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg with a Mass celebrated in Our Lady of the Lake Church in Leominster on Friday, July 1 at 10:00am. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be from 4-7pm on Thursday, June 30 in the funeral home.

OBITUARY
Fitchburg – Glen M. Vanderlinden, 50, of Fitchburg, passed away in his home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
Glen was born in Chicopee, MA on January 21, 1966, a son of Marcel “Rusty” and Barbara (Power) Vanderlinden of Leominster. He was a 1984 graduate of Waltham High School. Glen worked in Sales for most of his career, most recently as an Outside Sales Distributor for Lehigh Armstrong, Inc. Glen was a member of the Eastwood Club in Fitchburg.
Glen loved music; he was a self taught musician, who played for years in local bands. He was passionate about encouraging others to play various instruments. For years while his children were young, Glen volunteered his time coaching Youth Hockey and Little League Softball and Baseball. He will be forever remembered as a true and loyal Boston Bruins Fan.
He was always a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Glen had a magnetic personality, which was reflected in his many many dear friends. He was truly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Glen leaves his beloved wife of 27 years Dianne “Dee” (Bentley) Vanderlinden; daughter, Melissa Vanderlinden; son, Michael Vanderlinden and his companion Nichole Lyons; grandson, Joseph Bisceglia-Vanderlinden, all of Fitchburg. He also leaves his siblings Keith Vanderlinden of Fitchburg, Darren Norman and wife Katie of Fitchburg, and Jill Sacca and her husband Rob of Marlborough; nieces and nephews, William, Alanna, Jackson, Brady, and Gracie; many in laws, cousins, friends, and his cat, Buddy.
