Gary W. Stevens

Gary W. Stevens age 66, of Grandview Terrace Barre MA, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 after a brief illness.

Gary was born April 12, 1958. He enlisted in the Army National Guard, at the age of 18. He served 2 tours in Iraq and earned various medals, badges and honors.

Gary enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, hunting and building model military vehicles, which he had a numerous amount of. He found peace and solace in nature and spending time with his family and friends, that became his strength. Gary was generous and the first to jump in when help was needed.

Gary leaves behind two greatly loved daughters, Stephanie Goodrich of Ohio and Rebecca Stevens of Vermont as well as his grandson Domonic whom he adored, his sisters; Carol Collins of NC, Cindy Bosse of VA, Barbara Stevens of MA, Ann Marie Young of MA and Gloria Kalilanen of TN, Uncle Stanley and Aunt Cynthia Keyes of Princeton MA, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends. Gary is predeceased by his infant daughter Laurie Stevens, his father Robert Stevens and mother Marjorie Stevens.

A graveside military service will be held May 24, 2024, at 1:00pm, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
