Emblem
It is with immense respect and a heavy heart that we share the passing of Francis E. Quinn, known affectionately as Frank, who left us on March 17, 2024. Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on February 11, 1944, Francis lived a life that touched all who knew him.

Francis served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Crisis. Following this time, Frank became a patrolman in the Fitchburg Police Department, where he served with honor and distinction until his retirement. His commitment to protecting his fellow citizens earned him numerous commendations and recognitions. As a proud member of the United States Police K-9 Association, he never met a dog he didn't like.

Frank was a dedicated family man, and his world revolved around his family. He took immense pleasure in following his children's and grandchildren's sports and activities. Frank enjoyed spending his time carving wood, working on cars, and telling stories over a nice cup of tea.

Francis is survived by his wife Normajean, sons Jason and his partner Nicola of Wellington NZ, Jared and his wife Laura of Sterling, Jonas and his wife Melissa of Ashburnham, and his grandchildren Liam, Cian, Zachary, Danika, and Callan. He also leaves behind his sister Carol Sargent, sister-in-law Kathleen Rozea and her husband Michael Rozea. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Rita Quinn, brother-in-law Charles Bardsley, and in-laws Teresa and Raymond Bardsley.

Francis's life was a testament to his generous spirit, loyalty to his profession, and courage in the face of adversity. We invite you to celebrate Francis's life by sharing your memories and photos on his memorial page.
