Eugenia A. Pappas Aletrakis

The funeral will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00am in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1319 Main St., Fitchburg. A Calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10-11am in the church. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg is directing arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1319 Main St., Fitchburg, MA 01420 or to a charity of one’s choice.
Westminster – Eugenia Aletrakis Pappas, 94, of Westminster, passed away on January 28, 2018 in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.
Eugenia was born on August 14, 1923 in Universal, PA, the daughter of Louis and Maria (Kamarianos) Aletrakis. She lived in PA, Greece, Merrick, Long Island, NY, Fitchburg and Westminster, MA.
She is survived by her daughter Constance Pappas of Westminster; her son William J. Pappas and his wife Deborah of Leominster; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Eugenia was predeceased by her loving husband John V. Pappas and by her beloved siblings; Kiki (Aletrakis) Petrakis and her husband Costas Petrakis, Olympia (Aletrakis) Balabanis and her husband Hippocrates Balabanis, her sister Bessie Aletrakis, and her brother George Aletrakis; along with nieces Maria Aletrakis and Joanne Pappas Baity. She was also predeceased by her beloved sisters in law and husbands; Chris and Helen Cholaki and Andrew and Evanthea Geas, brothers in law and wives, Charles V. and Olga Pappas, James V. and Mary Pappas.
