A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 24 in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will be at 1:00 pm in the MA Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
Calling hours are from 9:00- 10:30 prior to the Mass in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg.
Leominster- Eugene L. Boucher, 80 passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 16.
Mr. Boucher was in Fitchburg on February 1, 1942 a son to the late Joseph and Doris (Therrien) Boucher.
Eugene is predeceased by his wife, Jeannette (Tellier) Boucher.
He is survived by his son, Jay Boucher and wife, Crystal of Gardner, daughter, Renee Bastine and husband, Frank of Lunenburg, sister, Betty Dame of Templeton, grandchildren, Brendan Bastine, Cory Bastine, Alysha Marcil, Max Boucher and great grandchildren, Brook, Ava, Sophia.
Mr. Boucher was the brother of the late Elie Boucher.
Mr. Boucher served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Eugene had been previously employed at Jay’s Electric, Digital, Mar-Lee Mold and Standard Tool. He was a former Eucharistic Minster and Lector at St. Joseph’s Church in Fitchburg for many years.
Mr. Boucher enjoyed golf, Mohegan Sun, computers and he his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his great grandchildren.
