Emma Brimage-Parmenter was born in Goldsboro, NC on January 7, 1940, to Staten and Hattie Brimage, and departed this life, January 10, 2023.
Emma moved to Boston with her family in the early 1950’s. She was the first child of sixteen siblings. Emma attended Boston Public Schools, married and raised a family of four children. She furthered her education and received a B.S. degree in Human Services.
