OBITUARY
Leominster – Emily Rose (DiGeronimo) Angelini, 95, died on December 2, at the Notre Dame Long Term Care Center in Worcester.
Emily was born and raised on Mountain Avenue in Fitchburg, the daughter of Michael and Lena (Cassinari) DiGeronimo. She graduated from Fitchburg High School and attended Burbank School of Nursing. She was married for over 60 years to her beloved husband Domenic A. “Bucky” Angelini, who predeceased her in 2003 and who owned and operated the Boston Fish Market in Leominster for over 50 years. After raising two sons, Attorney Michael P. Angelini of Worcester and Attorney Gregory J. Angelini of Leominster, Emily and Bucky spent their later years traveling and enjoying their summer residence on Cape Cod.
In addition to her sons, Emily is survived by Michael’s wife Marie (Regan) Angelini and Greg’s wife Patricia (Donatelly) Angelini; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Dr. Ernest M. DiGeronimo and her sister Caroline Leavitt also predeceased her. She leaves behind a loving list of her very many best friends and indelible visions of her striking white hair and warm smile.
Emily was a parishioner at Saint Anna’s Catholic Church in Leominster and the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in West Harwich.
