Emile “Jack” Ouellette was born in Fitchburg MA on March 6, 1937 to the late Leo J and Nellie (Gilson) Ouellette. Jack worked for Nova Chemicals until 2002 retiring after 40 years. He loved gardening and he had a “green thumb”. He could grow anything, but particularly loved growing chestnut trees from chestnuts. He was one of the founders of the semi-pro football team the Twin City Chiefs. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Patriots as well as the local high school teams. He was an amateur boxer with the Golden Gloves and ran a boxing club for youths in the 1950’s.
He leaves his wife of 60 years Barbara A (Fors) Ouellette. He leaves one son Gary (Nicole) Ouellette of Ashburnham, MA, 2 daughters, Brenda (Frank) Bangrazi of Ashby, MA and Pamela (Brian) Sumner of Ashburnham, MA. He leaves 5 grandsons, Frank (Shea) Bangrazi Jr, Marco Bangrazi, Brian Sumner Jr, Maxwell Sumner and Eric Ouellette. He leaves 4 granddaughters, Kaitlyn (Clark) Mitchell, Courtney Clark, Kimberly Clark and Lauren Ouellette. He leaves 4 great grandchildren, Hannah Mitchell, Maggie Mitchell, Quinn Vallee and Beckett Vallee. He also leaves one brother Leo (Diane) Ouellette of Fitchburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his daughter Sherry Clark, son in law David Clark, 2 brothers Norman Ouellette and Robert Ouellette.
The family will honor his memory in private, according to Jack’s wishes.
