Elsie Maeve Lafferty

February 2, 2022 — April 12, 2023

Ashburnham

ASHBURNHAM - Elsie Maeve Lafferty was unexpectedly called to heaven on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Elsie was a beautiful child inside and out with big blueberry eyes, a contagious dimpled smile and laugh that filled all of our hearts. She brought absolute joy to everyone around her. Elsie loved spending mornings with her mom at the Ashburnham Library’s story time and watching Miss Rachel with her pup “Char.” She loved to dance and sing along to Wheels on the Bus and Old MacDonald. She enjoyed doing anything outside with her big brother Ryan. Their bond was absolutely unbreakable and always will be.

Elsie was too perfect for this world and leaves behind her loving parents Breana and Mark Lafferty, the best big brother Ryan Lafferty, and her pup Charlotte. She will be forever missed by all who loved her, especially Nana (Kelly Miller), Bubby (Scott Miller), Gramma (Gretchen Lafferty), and Bubby (Mark Lafferty Sr.). Elsie was a treasured niece of Josh Miller, Janet and Dan Johnson, Meghann Lafferty and her longtime boyfriend Frank Ferdinand, Erick and Leah Lafferty, Matthew Lafferty, Auntie Erin, Uncle Jeff, Sophia and Olivia Gervais, Michael Boardman, Uncle Joey, Aunt Holly and daughter Reverie and her Great Grandmother Dolores Miller. She will miss her playtime visits with her cousins Nolan and Owen Johnson. She deeply touched the hearts of so many but specifically those who knew her best including Uncle D, Doug Brandon, Matthew, Tori and Avery Brandon, Jillian Schrader, and Casey Hauptman.

Elsie, our beloved, shining, happy girl, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts you will always leave us smiling through our tears. You are joy personified.

The family will receive visitation on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 5:00PM – 8:00PM at Brandon Funeral Home 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420. Burial will be private. Donations can be made in honor of Elsie to her favorite place, Stevens Memorial Library in Ashburnham, MA, or to a charity of your choosing.
