Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Sunday, March 1, from 3-5:30pm. A service will be held at 5:30 pm.
Fitchburg- Elizabeth Jean Hill, 21, of Fitchburg, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center after injuries sustained after being struck by a plowtruck.
She was born in Brockton on February 17, 1994. Elizabeth was raised in Northfield, Mass and moved to Fitchburg in 2008. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 2013 and attended Mount Wachusett Community College. Elizabeth worked at Market Basket as a cashier.
Elizabeth brought joy to everyone who knew her. She had a kind spirit and heart, and also a beautiful smile. She loved music, singing, dancing, reading, and riding horses. Elizabeth was a great friend to so many and always wanted to help in any way she could. She volunteered at the Leominster Office of Emergency Management. She always wanted to help others, and in her death as well; she donated her organs and tissue to those in need.
Elizabeth leaves her father Glen S. Hill and his wife Beth Conley-Hill, with whom she lived; her mother Jill Humann of Brockton; brothers and sisters, Emily Hill and Nathan Houle of Fitchburg and Diana and James McClain of Brockton; great grandmother, Priscilla Mueller of Brockton; grandparents, Jean Hill of Bernardston, David and Elizabeth Humann of Brockton, Francis and Diane Conley of Leominster; her boyfriend Ariel Vega of CT, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
