Elaine Florence Corcoran, born on October 29, 1936, in Boston, Massachusetts, passed from this world surrounded by her family on July 10, 2023.
Elaine had a long and fulfilling career as an Administrative Assistant at Digital Equipment Corporation, Maynard, MA, from where she retired in 1998. You could always find her reading a book, and she also loved to travel. Her many trips included numerous cruises with her family; she even cruised to Alaska and Hawaii with her sister, Barbara. Her annual vacations to Hampton and Clearwater Beaches with her family, are what she looked forward to most. But what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family, including her beloved animals.
Elaine is survived by her loving daughters, Debralee Corcoran of Marblehead, Melissa Harnish and her husband Ed of Worcester, Jessica Chiurri and her husband Mark of Leominster; son in-law, Bryan Bradley of Lunenburg; seven grandchildren, Mark Chiurri, Jr. and his wife Jen, Amanda Kelley and her husband Scott, Alicia Richard and her husband Keith, Taylor Breault, Thomas Breault, Roxanne Hughes and her partner Jeffrey Williams, and Jacob Bradley; as well as ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Paul E. Corcoran, her daughter, Stacey Bradley; and her two sisters, Rita Stearns and Barbara Greenberg.
A visitation service for Elaine will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, with an in-house funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Her life will be celebrated immediately after at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton, 99 Erdman Way, Leominster.
