OBITUARY
Leominster – Edward R. Stesney, 70, of Leominster, passed away Saturday, December 17 in his home.
Edward was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on February 10, 1946, a son of the late Theodore and Agnes (Nacinovich) Stesney. He worked for Kmart for over 30 years, ending his career as a General Manager. Most recently Edward had been working as a livery driver.
Edward loved Cape Cod and sailing, but most of all he loved his grandchildren. He was always attending their sporting events and spending quality time with them. He was very active in founding the Leominster Youth Hockey during the 1980’s.
He leaves his children, Mark Stesney and wife Elizabeth Doherty of Winchester, Michael Stesney of Denver, Colorado, Kristen Stesney and husband Kenneth Bergeron, Jr. of Leominster, Stephen Stesney and wife Bridget Thorsen Stesney of Silver Spring, Maryland; grandchildren, Owen and Colin Stesney, Emili, Samuel, and Madeline Stesney, Logan, Jarid, Hannah, Kyle, and Chase Bergeron, Wyatt and Connor Stesney; former wife Joan Stesney Morin of Lancaster, MA; brother, William Stesney and wife Marion of Shamokin, PA, and niece, Mary Kelly Watson of New Lawn, PA.
