The funeral will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Wednesday, June 21, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 20, from 4-7 pm.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
Lancaster – Earl J. Pelote, 77, of Lancaster, formerly of Hudson, passed away June 15, 2017 in Tufts Medical Center.
He was born in Shirley, MA on March 3, 1940, the only son of Joseph and Helen (Hachey) Pelote. He graduated from Framingham High School and spent his career in Sales, working in the Food Industry. Earl was employed by General Foods, Quaker, and lastly Costa Foods, until his retirement due to illness.
Earl was an avid golfer and a member of the Marlborough Country Club for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, and always had a fondness for sports cars.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Janita (Cormier) Pelote of Lancaster; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
