Dorothy P. Caron

West Boylston-Dorothy P. (Lamarre) Caron, 83, died Friday, May 5, 2023, after a brief illness. 
She was the wife of the late Arsene Caron. 
Dorothy will be missed by her children, Pamela (Caron) Hanna of West Boylston, and Patricia (Caron) O'Dell and her husband Brian of Leominster; three grandchildren, Emily Hanna, Sean O'Dell and his wife Coralene, and Timmothy O'Dell; and several nieces and nephews. 
She is predeceased by her son, Jeffery Caron, and her sister, Diane (Lamarre) Roy.
Dorothy was born to Roland and Annette (Bonsaint) Lamarre on September 19, 1939, in Brunswick, Maine. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1957. After graduation she served in the US Marine Corps for 2 years, she returned to Massachusetts where she married and raised her children. 
She worked at Simonds Industries for many years before retiring and returning to Maine. She loved cooking, reading a good book, and taking long walks outdoors. 
Dorothy's funeral will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420. 
Burial will be private.
