Fitchburg – Dorothy A. (Richard) Belliveau, 86, of Fitchburg passed away peacefully on May 22, in her home.

 

Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Tuesday, May 30 from 4-7 pm. A service will be held on Wednesday, May 31 in the Pieta Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.



OBITUARY Fitchburg – Dorothy A. (Richard) Belliveau, 86, of Fitchburg passed away peacefully on May 22, in her home. She was born in Fitchburg on July 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Dennis and Regina (Thibodeau) Richard. Dot had been employed at the Fitchburg Yarn (Woolen Mills), the Hope Company, and retired from the Moduform in Fitchburg. She enjoyed many years of bowling at the Putnam Street Bowling Alley and also enjoyed live dancing. Dot is survived by her children, Christine (Jack) Dufresne of Westminster, R. Denis Belliveau of Fitchburg, and Michael (Cindy) Belliveau of Fitchburg; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her sisters, Yvonne Rivard of Fitchburg and Loretta Fortier of Gardner; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Belliveau in 1981, her son Richard “Dick” Belliveau in 1992, and her daughter Claire Therrien in 1993.
