Doris “Didi” E. (Cetrino) Campbell, 85, of Keene, NH, formerly of Fitchburg, MA, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022. She was born in Fitchburg on July 22, 1936, the daughter of the late Louis and Annie (Niskala) Cetrino. As a child, she grew up in “The Patch” where her parents owned Annie’s Variety Store. She was the wife of the late Francis “Bill” W. Campbell, a 23-year veteran of the US Air Force. They traveled extensively together; their favorite duty station was Hickam AFB, Oahu, Hawaii in the mid 70’s.
Over the years, Didi enjoyed listening and singing along to country music (loved her Johnny Cash), bingo, taking walks, hiking Mt. Monadnock, and working in her yard. She always mentioned that she loved the Salvation Army and even volunteered at the Fitchburg store. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her grand-dogs and cats.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill, their son William, brothers John Cetrino, Vincenzo “Vinny” Cetrino, sisters Mary Ann Cetrino, Ruth Lashua and Louise Laramie.
She is survived by her daughter Sally Collins, granddaughter Shana Davis and her husband Ricky Davis, sister Eleanor Grillo, and several nieces and nephews.
