Doreen M. Colburn

Doreen Colburn, age 55, passed away peacefully at home on April 11^th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and her canine companions, Pompi and Spike. After a long courageous battle with cancer.

Doreen was born in Leominster, MA, on March 4, 1968. The daughter of Jeannette (Albert) Branch and the late Charles T. Branch Jr.

At an early age, she developed a love of animals and was fortunate to turn her passion into a career working in the Equestrian Industry for many years. She was loved and respected by all that knew her.

She also enjoyed the numerous cruises she and her husband went on and their visits to Florida. She was an avid kickboxer, going to classes daily. She also enjoyed the outdoors and working in her yard gardening.

Doreen was predeceased by her husband Paul Colburn, her father Charles T. Branch Jr., and father-in-law Russell Colburn.

She is survived by her son Curtis Sciabarrasi  and his wife Chelsea of NH, daughter Cassandra Sciabarrasi of TN and step daughter Kristen Colburn of RI. She is also survived by her mother Jeannette (Albert) Branch and brother Charles Branch of Leominster, MA, sisters Diana Stark and husband Bruce Stark of Templeton, MA, and Darlene Bilodeau of Leominster, MA, and her mother-in-law Pat Colburn of FL. As well as several niece's and nephews and her canine companions Pompi and Spike. She also leaves behind her good friend Dawn Arsenault of Lunenburg, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Doreen for a period of visitation on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg, MA 01420, from 3:00PM until 5:00PM. Burial will be private.
