It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to a remarkable man, Dominic G. Testa, who departed this world on April 20, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in Fitchburg, MA on February 14, 1933, to Dominic and Julia Testa, Dominic, affectionately known as "Papa", "Grampy" and "Nico" by his loved ones, was a beacon of compassion, dedication, empathy, and humor. He filled every room with laughter and warmth, and his life serves as a testament to the power of humility, love, and unwavering support.

Dominic spent his life in service to his community as a dedicated maintenance worker for the Municipality of Leominster. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his impact on the community was profound. Even after his retirement, Dominic remained a visible and valued member of his community. As an avid golfer, he was a fixture at the Manoosnoc Country Club for 65 years, and as a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus, he embodied the organization's principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Dominic's love for travel took him to Florida many times, but what mattered most to him was spending time with his family. As Maya Angelou once said, "I sustain myself with the love of family." Dominic was a US Navy Veteran, serving from 1952 to 1954 during the Korea War time.

Dominic is survived by his devoted daughters, Susan (Testa) Smalley and husband Joe, Sandra (Testa) Hanks and husband Roger, Pamela (Testa) Turner, and Kimberly (Testa)  Giannunzio and husband John. He will be missed deeply by his 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dominic was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Claire Testa, his son-in-law, Rick Turner, and his parents, Dominic Testa and Julia (Brasili) Testa, 8 brothers and 6 sisters.

Dominic was a man of exceptional depth and unwavering love. His life was a tapestry of commitment to his family, his work, his community, and his faith. As we mourn his departure, let us also celebrate the remarkable life he led. Please remember him for his humor, his dedication, and his compassion. We invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos of Dominic on the memorial page as a tribute to his life well-lived. His story is not over, as his memory will forever be a part of our hearts.
