The funeral will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2pm in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. A calling hour will be from 1-2 pm. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
LEOMINSTER – David L. Taylor, 68, died May 22, 2015 in The Life Care Center in Leominster, where he resided.
He was born February 18, 1947 in Fitchburg and was the son of Fred L. Taylor, Jr. who died on January 17, 2007 and Josephine (Catalini) Taylor who died on December 21, 2010. He was also the great great grandson of David Taylor, a Civil War officer who was born and buried in Ashby.
He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Fitchburg and then went on to earn his Masters Degree in 1990 in Regional planning from The University of Massachusetts Amherst, Department of Natural Resources and the Environment.
Before his illness he loved fishing and gardening.
David leaves many cousins from the Taylor and Catalini sides of the family.
