Visiting hours are Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4-7 pm in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. A Bible Talk will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in the spring at East Cemetery, Williston, VT.



FITCHBURG – David K. Miles, 70, passed away peacefully Friday, December 2, 2016 in UMass Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by his loving family, after a five month battle with end stage liver disease.  He will be greatly missed. Dave served in the Navy as a Boatswain Mate for four active years and two years in the reserve.  After his release, he worked as a manager at Interstate Container Inc. in Lowell, Ma, where he earned a reputation as a hard worker, effective boss and loyal employee.  During retirement, he enjoyed spending more time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Irene (Mckinnon) Miles, his three daughters, Ann Lopes and husband, Greg, Joy Davis and husband, Brad and Heather Maguadog, his two sons, Christopher and wife, Rachel, Matthew and his loving companion, Elyse Halpin, eight grandchildren, Amber, Andrew, Kaycee, Emily, Collin, Kage, Ashley, Logan and one great grandson Ezra; one brother Alan and wife, Mary, one sister, Sharon Elibero and husband, Phil, two sisters-in-law, Jayne Kapala and Mary Guilbeault and husband, Robert and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
