David Elwood Cass

David Elwood Cass Of Westminster, Massachusetts passed away on January 20th 2025 at the age of 81 after a brief illness.

David was born on March 29th 1943 in East Templeton, Massachusetts to Elwood and Ester Cass. He grew up in Gardner Massachusetts also spending time on Cape Cod.

David was a jack of all trades. Doing everything from a Volunteer Fire fighter, Foreman at Pilgrim House Products, Wood worker at ModuForm INC and a cheese maker at West field Farm.

David was an avid fisherman and in retirement enjoyed fishing, golfing, mowing his lawn on his tractor and telling many stories about his life.

 David was predeceased by his father Elwood Cass, mother Ester Cass, brother Ronald Cass and sisters Beckie Sears and Bonnie Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Maryellen Cass; daughter Kimberly O'Brien and husband Tim; his two grandchildren Kylee and Zachary, and many nieces and nephews.

 Their will be no calling hours.

Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg is directing arrangements.
