THOMPSON — A service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Calling hours are from 4-8 Tuesday at the funeral home.



 

She was born in Boston on September 6, 1931 a daughter of the late Levi and Martha Stanley.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her sons, Thomas Stanley and his wife Ann of Winston Salem, NC, James Stanley and his wife Michelle of Fitchburg, Joseph Stanley and his wife Linda of Seattle, Washington, William Stanley and his wife Karen of Leominster, Cornelius Stanley and his wife Tracy of Ashburnham, daughters, Dorothy Stanley of Fitchburg, Phoebe Miller and her husband Valentine of Fitchburg, Linda Oja of Fitchburg, Daisy Stanley of Fitchburg, Jill Boulanger and her husband Norman of Kent, WA., her sister, Betsy Stanley of Salem, NH, many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her son, Henry “Hammer” Stanley and brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Thompson loved to dance and cook pasta.
