Cynthia’s funeral will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Saturday, March 10 at 10 am. There are no calling hours.



Fitchburg – Cynthia (Smith) Adams, 85, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 2, 2018 in Leominster Hospital.

Cynthia was born in Eastham, MA on July 21, 1932, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ida (Silva) Smith. For many years she worked for Clinton Manor Nursing Home in Housekeeping.

The most important aspect of Cynthia’s life was her family; they were her world. She was a selfless and loving woman, who always put the needs of other’s before hers. She loved cooking and having gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod and spending time at the ocean. Cynthia had a love of music, and could often be found singing and dancing. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; the true matriarch of her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Taylor, Clyde Littlewood, Thomas Littlewood and his wife Patty, Mark Littlewood, Tish Adams and partner Louise Richard, John Adams, Jr., and Tammy Kram and her husband Darin; grandchildren, Thomas Littlewood, Jr., Tia Rebeijo, Edith Benda, David Goodsell, Stephen Goodsell, Todd Alden, Drew Alden, Annie Benda, Paul Morin, Jr., Brandon Holden, Jennifer Pigott, David Ashe, and Hayley Adams; sister, Dorothy Cash and husband Charlie; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Cynthia was predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Adams, and her two daughters, Cindy Goodsell and Ida Morin. She was also predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
