Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Wednesday, November 9, from 9:30 – 11:00am. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 in Saint Anthony di Padua Church in Fitchburg. Burial will follow in Saint Bernards Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please support the charity of your choice.
Concetta (Connie) M. Imprescia Piccolomini, 95, of Fitchburg, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 31, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in Fitchburg on November 21, 1926, the youngest child of the late Filippa and Filippo Imprescia.
She was a 1944 graduate of Fitchburg High School. Immediately after graduating she worked for attorney Fine’s law firm in Fitchburg as a stenographer. For several years afterwards she was employed by the Independent Lock Company. She then worked for many years at Carbone’s restaurant, owned by her sister Anna, located in Whalom, MA. During her semi-retirement years she also worked at W.T. Grants in Leominster.
She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Fitchburg and a member of the Fitchburg chapter of the Sons and Daughters of Italy.
Her biggest love was her family and especially her husband Ercole (Harry) Piccolomini of 49 years. She cherished all family events and activities with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Connie enjoyed playing the piano, singing, and dancing, especially with her sisters.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry Piccolomini in 1997. She leaves her son Paul J. Piccolomini and his wife Dawn, her two grandchildren Zachary Paul Piccolomini and his wife Leigh Anne, and John Paul Piccolomini and his wife Allison and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Dominic and Samuel Imprescia, and her sisters Anna Carbone, Palma Russo and Josie Romano.
