Colin Robert Raymond Delorme, born on October 30, 1991, left this world on January 31, 2024, at the age of 32. He is survived by his devoted wife of 12 years, Adeline Delorme, and their four beautiful children: Ellysia (11), Elihu (8), Ethan (4), and Emmaline (2).
Colin's loving memory will be cherished by those around him, including his mother, Lisa Delorme of Leominster, MA, and his father, Robert Delorme of Fitchburg, MA. His siblings, Corrine Delorme of North Carolina, Caitlin Garcia and husband Jonathan of Fitchburg, MA, and Cameron Delorme of Leominster, along with his brother-in-laws Tyson David and wife Krista, Josiah David and partner Rebecca, sister-in-law Genevieve David and his mother-in-law, Susan David of Ashburnham, and father-in-law, Bruce David of Winchendon
Colin's nieces and nephews, Gwenivere Garcia, Artimus Garcia, Katherine David, Henry David, Peter David, and Alexander David, will miss their uncle dearly. Colin is remembered by his grandmother, Lucille Delorme, extended family and by his dearest friends, Toby Manolis and Jonathan Pittard and their families. He is honored by countless other friends and family members, as well as by the 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron and and the member of all his other assignments.
Colin served honorably in the United States Air Force for over 13 years, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. During his time in the military, he supported Operations Noble Eagle and Inherent Resolve, ensuring security at home and abroad. His numerous deployments and a short tour assignment to South Korea showcased his commitment to his country. For his service, he earned the Air Force Commendation Medal. In addition to his military service, Colin earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and had recently been accepted into Georgia Tech, where he was excited to pursue his Master's in Data Analytics.
Beyond his professional achievements, Colin was a passionate foodie and loved to cook for others and with his wife and children. He enjoyed board games, video games, rock climbing, deep sea fishing, and many more hobbies that he enthusiastically shared with those around him. His role as the Game Master of Tabletop Role Playing Games added a creative dimension to his hobbies, bringing joy and camaraderie to those fortunate enough to share in these imaginative journeys.
Colin's life was also marked by deep faith, mighty conviction, and devotion to the God of Israel and his Messiah. His spiritual journey was a source of strength and guidance, shaping his character and influencing the lives of those around him.
His children and wife were his world, and whether near or far, Colin was always there for them. His unwavering love and support formed the foundation of a family that stood strong through every challenge and celebrated every joy. This enduring power of family bonds is now etched in the hearts of his beloved wife and children, embodying Colin's legacy of dedication, love, unwavering faith, and an unyielding zest for life. He touched the hearts of those around him and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Colin on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg, MA, 01420 from 12:00pm until 1:00. Burial to follow at Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St. Winchdendon, MA 01475. There will be a reception following burial at the Colonial Hotel, 625 Betty Spring Rd, Gardner, MA 01440
