Clementina Divito Petricca

Di VITO – The funeral Mass will be held on June 25, at 10:00am in Annunciation Parish, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Hubbardston. Calling hours are on Sunday, June 24, from 2:00-6:00pm in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Health Alliance Home Health & Hospice, 60 Hospital Rd., Leominster, MA 01453 or to Simonds Sinon Regional Cancer Center, 275 Nichols Rd., Fitchburg, MA 01420.



HUBBARDSTON – Clementina Di Vito, 94, of Hubbardston, died June 21, 2018, in her home, after a long battle with Lymphoma Cancer that had been in remission for nearly 8 years, returned upon an additional brief battle with the aggressive illness. She was born May 19, 1924 which had been recorded in City Hall as May 22, 1924 in Sora, Frosinone, Italy, daughter of the late Costantino and Maria Luigia (Alonzi) Petricca.

 

Mrs. Di Vito was a wonderful housewife and a loving mother of five children, four boys and one girl. She enjoyed cheering on the Boston Bruins, watching The Price Is Right, the Daily Mass, and spending quality time with all of her loved ones. She leaves behind her four sons, Liberato Di Vito and his wife, Loreta of Leominster, Gabriele Di Vito and his wife, Lucia of Fitchburg, Mario Di Vito and his wife, Silvana of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Vincenzo Di Vito and his wife, Linda of Salem, New Hampshire; one daughter, Franca Di Vito-Martin and her husband, Michael of Hubbardston; 13 grandchildren, Bernardina Walsh, AnnaMaria Niemi, Vincenzo Di Vito, Anthony Di Vito, AnnaMaria Roy, Stephen Di Vito, Erica Belli, Michael Di Vito, Peter Di Vito, Amanda Di Vito, Joshua Martin, Luke Martin, and Isabella Martin; 17 great-grandchildren, Alexia, Samantha, John, Alessandro, Gino, Massimo, Adam, Evan, Dario, Dominic, Alex, Aria, Christopher, Emma, Nicholas, Lorenzo, Leonardo; one great-great-grandchild, Esther; one brother, Quirino Petricca, husband of the late MariaGrazia, one sister Giulia Di Vito, wife of the late Vincenzo; several nieces and nephews.

 

Mrs. Di Vito was predeceased by her husband, Giuliano Di Vito; her brothers, Donato Petricca and his late wife, Marietta of Sora, Frosinone, Italy, Michele Petricca and his late wife, Vittoria of Sora, Frosinone, Italy, Attilio Petricca and his late wife, Donata of Sora, Frosinone, Italy, Domenico Petricca and his wife, Livia of Sora, Frosinone, Italy; her sisters, Restituta Lombardi and her late husband, Giulio of Latina, Italy, Maria Di Vito and her late husband, Antonio of Latina, Italy.
