The funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 8, in Saint Cecilias Church 180 Mechanic St., Leominster at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, November 7, from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Claire’s memory may be made to Mulch for Military, 84 Manchester St., Leominster MA 01453, or to Jonathan Roberge Memorial Fund c/o Avidia Bank.



Claire L. (Belliveau) Richard, 94, of Leominster died peacefully on October 31. She was born in Leominster to parents Henry & Dora Belliveau and was the widow of Arcade Richard, to whom she was married for 72 years.

She is survived by her 4 sons, Laurie, Denis, Joe & wife Patty, Francis & wife Rachel; as well as 5 daughters, Louise Redfield & husband Bill, Diane Kelliher & husband Ed, Terry Risotti & husband Angie (deceased), Pauline Roberge & husband John (deceased), and Rita Sheridan-Chartrand & husband Richard; sister Lena Albert, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other extended family.

She was pre-deceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters, and grandchildren Christine and Jonathan.
