OBITUARY Leominster – Chrystal May (Benoit) Zdonczyk, 39, of Leominster, passed away Tuesday, January 31, in Leominster Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. Chrystal was born in Leominster on May 21, 1977. Family was the center of Chrystal’s life; she was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and granddaughter. Being a caregiver was so much more to Chrystal than an occupation, it was her passion. She was genuinely selfless, nurturing, and helpful to anyone in need. She will be fondly remembered for her love of animals, and her kind nature. Chrystal will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. She leaves her two beloved daughters, Sherryann and Cheyanne Zdonczyk; her mother, Sherry (Benoit) Gonynor; brother Jeffrey Taylor and his wife Jillian Walters-Taylor; nieces and nephews, Tiffanie, Jeffrey, Jr., Christopher, Jonathan, Allyson, and Nathan; grandfathers, Kenneth Burchstead and Fred Benoit; her adopted father Steve Galletta; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chrystal was predeceased by her grandmother Mary Burchstead in May, 2016.
