Charline Boudreau Maillet

June 18, 1936 — May 5, 2016

The funeral will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 from Brandon Funeral Home, Fitchburg with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg.  Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.  Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Simonds Sinon Regional Cancer Center.



LUNENBURG – Charline “Chi” T. (Maillet) Boudreau, 79, passed away May 5, 2016 in Health Alliance Hospital, Leominster Campus after a courageous three year battle with lung cancer.

She was born June 18, 1936 in Fitchburg, the daughter of Eugene and Edna (Robichaud) Maillet.  Charline spent most of her life in Fitchburg until moving to Wildwood, FL with her husband, where they spent 17 years of retirement. Before that, she was a cashier at the former Iandoli’s Market, and a customer service representative for Victory Market. Family and her love of God were her deepest passions.  She was the magnet that brought family together for celebrations and holidays, creating treasured memories that will never be forgotten. Charline was an avid reader, loved Bingo, trips to the casino, and sitting on the beach with a lobster roll. She truly was a gift to all who knew her.

She leaves her husband of 61 years, Ernest J. Boudreau, three sons, Keith E. Boudreau and his wife, Brenda, of Townsend, Kevin P. Boudreau of Framingham, Steven J. Boudreau and his wife, Tracy, of Fitchburg, a daughter, Lisa A. Conrad and her husband, Christopher, of Fitchburg, a brother, Denis Maillet and his wife, Norma, of Hubbardston, a sister, Dorina “Pam” Boucher and her husband, Aldege, of Fitchburg, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald Maillet and Rene Maillet, and two sisters, Winifred Landry and Jacqueline McCooe.
