Bridged K. Selig

Bridged Selig passed away after a brief illness on March 3, 2024. Born July 11, 1974, in Norwood, MA to Bernard and Kathye Higgins, she grew up alongside her brother Chris and sister, Alison in Braintree.

She attended Fontbonne Academy, Braintree High School and Westfield State University where she studied early childhood education, and met her husband, Peter Selig.

Bridged and Peter went on make a home in Fitchburg for many years and raised their two children, Jamie and Peter there. In addition to being a proud mother, she was passionate in her commitment to her career in restaurant management, she was avid reader, enthusiastic gardener and took great joy in raising her dogs: Molly, Tank and Moco. Most recently the arrival of a granddaughter, Riley, brought another source of joy.

Bridged is predeceased by her beloved mother, and is survived by her husband, daughter, son, granddaughter, her father, brother, sister, and her dog Molly.
